Hey, there! I’m Mark, but typically go by Tony. I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, and this community continues to shape both my story and my calling to walk alongside others in their seasons of struggle and growth.

My own path through hardship and healing taught me that the depths of human pain can also become places where redemption takes root. I’ve come to see that faith and psychology are not separate but woven together into the design of who we are — reminders that even in the valleys, restoration is possible. That conviction shapes how I sit with clients: with patience, compassion, and the belief that every life holds the possibility of renewal.

Serving my community also means honoring its voice. As a bilingual therapist, I offer counseling in both English and Spanish, ensuring that healing is accessible to individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. This is more than a skill — it is part of my identity and a vital way of caring for the diverse people of the Valley and the broader Spanish-speaking population of Texas.

In my practice, I work with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relational challenges. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from CBT, DBT, SFBT, attachment theory, and a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework.
At its heart, my work is about offering a “good place” — a safe, steady presence where stories can be shared, burdens can be set down, and resilience can rise again. Whether through faith-integrated care or a non-faith focus, I strive to honor the whole person — mind, body, relationships, and spirit — and to walk with them as they rediscover rest, strength, and hope.
